The Mahindra XUV 3XO was launched in the Indian market in 2024. Now, the sub-compact vehicle will soon be introduced in Australia. Before the launch, the vehicle will make its debut at the Melbourne Motor Show and is scheduled to go on sale mid-year. Once launched, the SUV will compete against already-established rivals like the Hyundai Venue, Toyota Yaris Cross, and Mazda CX-3 in the market.

Diving into the details of the pricing, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to have a price tag of under AUD 25,000 (around Rs 13.5 lakh). This will give it a decent position to hold against rivals like MG ZS, Chery Omoda 5, and others in the segment. For context, in the Indian market, the vehicle competes in a sub-Rs 10 lakh category with a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

For the price, the Mahindra XUV 3XO comes packed with features like a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and an infotainment system of the same size. Along with this, it boasts one of the biggest panoramic sunroofs in the segment, the brand's AdrenoX operating system, a seven-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and more. Additionally, there are features like wireless charger, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, and more.

Under the hood, the Mahindra XUV 3XO comes with a 1.2-liter TCMPFi petrol engine that produces 110 hp of power and 200 Nm of peak torque. It also offers the option of a 1.2-litre TGDi petrol engine kicking out 128 hp of power and 230 Nm torque. For these power units, transmission options include a six-speed MT and a six-speed AT.

Apart from the aforementioned options, the SUV also gets the choice of a 1.2-litre diesel engine, which produces 115 hp of power and 300 Nm torque. It comes paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed AMT.
