Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition comes with Stealth Black paint
Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded the range of all-black vehicles with the launch of the XUV700 Ebony Edition in the Indian market. The new version of the SUV comes at a starting price of Rs 19.64 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 24.14 lakh (ex-showroom). This iteration of the vehicle comes with aesthetic changes over the standard version of the vehicle and represents the brand's new take on all-black SUV. Here are all the details of the new vehicle.
Starting with the variant details, the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition is based on the top-spec trims of the SUV, i.e., the AX7 and the AX L variants. With the changes in place, these variants cost around Rs 15,000 more than the standard version they are based on. These variants carry the same powertrain options as the standard version with 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel and have 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. However, neither engine option has an all-wheel-drive system.
All of this is complemented by black paint called Stealth Black. With this, the SUV gets Ebody badges on the driver-side door and the tailgate. Furthermore, the brand is offering a blacked-out grille and contrasting silver skid plate on both the front and the rear end of the vehicle. Looking at the SUV from the side profile, the new blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels are easily noticeable.

In the cabin, the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony edition gets all-black leatherette upholstery replacing the Ivory interiors. To add some contrast, the seats and a few other parts have silver stitches. This is complemented by the presence of black elements on the door, dashboard, AC vents, and all other parts. It is to be noted that the SUV will only have a seven-seat option in this iteration, and the six-seat option has not been included. Meanwhile, the list of features is more or less the same as the standard version.
