Maruti Suzuki is currently preparing for the launch of its first born electric vehicle. The EV christened eVitara was recently showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and is presently in the testing phase. To ensure, the consumers get a polished product, the Indian manufacturer seems to be putting the electric SUV through various tests. Based on a recently leaked spy shot, the eVitara is going through a high altitude test in Himachal Pradesh.
Even after the design of the vehicle has been revealed, the test mule spotted is clad in camouflage. However, it fails to hide the identity of the vehicle. The pictures give a clear look at the 3-point Matrix LED DRL and the headlights. Furthermore, the design of the bumper offers a sporty appeal and is complemented by the blacked-out elements on the lower end. It also provides a place for the LED fog lights.

To go with the front fascia, the Maruti Suzuki eVitara gets a rather muscular design for the bonnet. The persona of the SUV is further accentuated by 18-inch alloy wheels with an aerodynamic design and big wheel arches. The rear end of the vehicle gets the floating roof effect with black pillars. Other notable elements include a shark fin antenna, roof spoiler, rear bumper with silver trims, and body cladding.
The highlight of the cabin of the Maruti Suzuki eVitara will be a twin-deck floating console consisting of a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and a digital cockpit. Along with this, the brand offers a floating infotainment screen, ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats, fixed glass, and more. For occupants' safety, the SUV will be equipped with features like seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, and more.
The power for the Maruti Suzuki eVitara will be stored in a 49 kWh battery pack. The brand is also offering the option of a bigger 61 kWh battery pack which will offer a range of over 500 km on a single charge. It is also expected to get AWD and FWD configurations.
