The Maruti Suzuki 4th generation was launched last year in May with a few upgrades from the older model and still managed to keep the "Swift" label intact. The hatchback is being sold in other countries and continents as well, like Europe but misses out on some features for the Indian roads. One of the key features that Swift offers in Europe and not in India is the ADAS. But the one spotted in the spy shots suggests that the hatchback might come in the country with ADAS features.

In a recent video by True Car Advice, a YouTube channel the Maruti Suzuki Swift is showing being tested on Indian roads. Also, the Swift mule was seen to have a few design changes suggesting ADAS features included in the car.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Expected To Get ADAS In India?
The Maruti Suzuki Swift model which was spotted testing had an all-black cladding. The bumper at the rear can be seen with a slight change from the existing Swift model and the prototype has a chrome finish at the lower end of the bumper. The cameras fitted in the ORVMs give a strong signal that it has ADAS features like blind spot detection, lane keep assist, and other features for safety. However, it was also seen that the test mule of the Swift had disc brakes which are offered by Maruti Suzuki only in Japan. This fact may conclude that the Swift mule spotted testing may be for export to Japan. The ADAS features, if added in Swift will increase the price of the car and hence it can be assumed that the Swift with ADAS will take some time to be launched in India.
Maruti Suzuki Swift: Engine, Price
The current variant of the Swift in India gets a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine which gives a power output of 79 hp and a torque of 112 Nm.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift has five variants available in India- LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi (O), the prices of which range from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.59 lack.
