JSW MG Motor India is set to introduce the second model for its premium range of vehicles in the form of the MG M9. To be retailed through the brand's MG Select outlets, it follows the Cyberster sports car. Scheduled to make its debut at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, it will be displayed alongside the aforementioned electric sports car. The event will begin on January 17 and will continue till January 22, 2025.
The MG M9 was initially showcased at 2023 Auto Expo with the "Mifa 9" moniker. It will have a typical MPV look with a boxy silhouette. Defining the unique identity of the vehicle will be an upright face with LED lights brightening the appearance. It will be complemented by the presence of headlamps embedded in the bumper. This is surrounded by a chrome outline which is continued to the lower end of the MPV.

The brand has also given the vehicle faux air dam at the lower end of the vehicle which provides space for the licence plate and sensors. The rear end follows the same pattern with chrome highlights and vertical tail lights connected with body-wide lightbar. To enhance the appeal the brand has added a few cuts and creases to the rear bumper.
On the inside, the MG M9 will have a three-row layout with 7-seat configuration. The second row is made of reclining seats which offers massage functions. Brimming with features, the MPV will have a three-zone climate control, a touch screen panel for the second row, seat ventilation, sliding rear doors, entertainment screens, and more.
The MG M9 will come with a fully electric powertrain with a 90 kWh battery pack which will offer a range of 430 km on a single charge. Once launched in the Indian market, it will be pitted against rivals like Kia Carnival. It will also try to pierce the market of more expensive competitors like Toyota Vellfire.
