JSW MG Motor India recently showcased the Majestor SUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The SUV is already available in the Indian market and is called the Maxus D90. Although the brand has not officially announced the launch date of the vehicle in the country, it is expected to be introduced in the coming months. Before the official event, the SUV has been spotted testing on Indian roads covered in camouflage. Here we take a look at the details of the upcoming SUV.

Marketed as a facelift version of the Gloster in some countries, the MG Majestor boasts a unique design. Specifically, it features a new grille, updated headlamps with LED DRLs, and a redesigned bumper. At the back, the vehicle is equipped with a new connected LED tail lamp. The manufacturers have also introduced a new bumper to emphasize its modern appeal.

Currently, the brand has not disclosed the full list of features that will be included in the MG Majestor. However, the model available in international markets comes with a redesigned dashboard layout featuring a free-floating touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a new centre console design, and more. Additionally, it is anticipated to come with an extended list of features.

The MG Majestor is expected to offer the same engine options as the Gloster. This suggests that the SUV will utilize a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine combined with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This engine is calibrated to deliver 163 hp of power and 375 Nm of torque in its single turbo version, while in its bi-turbo variant, it generates 218 hp of power and peaks at 480 Nm of torque. The more powerful bi-turbo version is available with a four-wheel drive system.
