Nissan Motor India has been working on the 'One car, One World' strategy. Complying with the initiative, Nissan Motor India has shipped 2,900 units of the new Nissan Magnite with Left Hand Drive system, to the markets in the LATAM regions. Nissan has also scheduled the export of 7,100 units in the second phase of export in February 2025, to countries like- the Middle East, North Africa, and select markets in the LATAM & Asia Pacific region.
With the new Left Hand Drive system in the Nissan Magnite, the company is working to cater to the global market, to diversify and meet customer needs. The LHD Nissan Magnite is being manufactured at Nissan's Alliance JV plant (RNAIPL) in Chennai.
On the occasion, Frank Torres, Divisional Vice President of AMIEO Region Business Transformation & President of Nissan India Operations, said- "Nissan Motor India has been diligently working towards expanding its operations and reach, not just within the domestic market but also focusing on exports. In line with our export plans announced last year, we are delighted to begin exports of the New Nissan Magnite to Left-Hand Drive (LHD) markets. This is a significant achievement, and we look forward to serving new customers in these regions. The Nissan Magnite has been the cornerstone of our success in both India and global markets, and we are confident that this India-made vehicle will drive our export growth further."

The new Nissan Magnite gets a new front grille, sleek LED headlights, and more. It also has features like an air ionizer, a cooled glovebox, a remote engine start system, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The safety features in the new Nissan Magnite include a rear view camera, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, ABS, and six airbags.
