Nissan launched its flagship SUV, the X-Trail, in the Indian market in 2024 at a starting price of Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom). To be sold in the country as a CBU, the car, at the time, was regarded as a rather expensive model by experts, considering what it had to offer. Reportedly, a large unsold inventory of the Nissan X-Trail SUV is being sold to Big Boy Toyz, and the company is retailing the Skoda Kodiaq rival at a sticker price of Rs 29.50 lakh. Listed on BBT's website (Cars.Co.In), the numerous examples of the X-Trails are listed as unregistered models with 0 km odometer readings.
Diving into the details, the Nissan X-Trail is being sold with a discount of up to Rs 21 lakh. This brings the price of the SUV down to Rs 29.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This translates to a drop of around 40 per cent. To add context, this is around the same price as the top-end variant of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, which is sold at Rs 20.52 lakh (ex-showroom).
