Tata Motors kickstarted the trend of all-black cars in the Indian market with their Dark Edition trims of the various models it sells in the country. Their newest offering - Curvv, still misses out on the black-finishes Dark Edition variant, but wait no more. The company is all-set to roll out the Tata Curvv Dark Edition. Previously, Tata launched the dark editions for the Safari, Nexon, Nexon EV, Altroz, and the Tata Harrier. Tata Curvv Dark Edition will be revealed on 22nd March as it is the official car for the 2025 IPL season.

Tata Curvv Dark Edition: What To Expect?
The Tata Curvv Dark Edition will not get any mechanical changes. The changes will limited to cosmetic updates - all-black paint scheme, a blacked-out grille, black-painted alloy wheels, and darkened headlamps, giving a sinister appeal. The interiors of the Tata Curvv Black Edition will be themed all-black, from the dashboard to the upholstery.

Tata Curvv Dark Edition: Engine And Powertrain
Tata Curvv Dark Edition will retain the top-tier powertrain choices 1.2-litre Hyperion turbocharged direct injection petrol engine and the 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine. The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine develops 123 HP and 225 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine of the Tata Curvv will deliver 116 HP and 260 Nm of torque.

The Tata Curvv Dark Edition is expected to receive a price hike of Rs 40,000 and in all likelihood, will be made available in the top-spec grades only.
