Tata Motors, one of the biggest car manufacturers in the country, has announced plans to hike the prices of its cars and SUVs sold in the country. The announcement from the automaker comes a day after they announced a price hike for the commercial vehicles sold in the country. The quantum of the hike is yet to be revealed for passenger vehicles and electric vehicles. Meanwhile, the prices of the commercial vehicles sold in the country will be increased by up to 2 per cent with the changes taking effect from April 2025.
The brand has decided to increase the prices of the vehicles to partially offset the increasing input costs and inflation. The extent of the hike will vary depending on the variant and the model. It is worth mentioning that this is the second time the brand has increased the prices of the vehicle in 2025. The earlier price hike was announced before the beginning of the calendar year. At the time, passenger vehicles saw an increase of up to 3 per cent in prices.

Tata Motors currently has models like Tiago, Tigor, Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Harrier, and Safari in its model lineup in the country. Meanwhile, the line of electric vehicles manufacturing arm of the brand has models like Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, and Curvv EV. Meanwhile, the automaker is planning on launching the Harrier EV in the country.
