Top 5 Scooters From Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 came to an end with nearly 240 launches, at all the concurrent events. The event was held at three different locations in NCR. The highlight was the Auto Expo 2025, which was organised from 17th January to 22nd January 2025. The Motor Show witnessed a slew of new unveils and launches in all segments. However, catering to the mass-market last-mile mobility were different scooters at the show. With multiple interesting scooters taking away the limelight, here are out top 5 picks from the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

Honda Activa E

Honda launched its much-anticipated scooter at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 - Honda Activa E, at a starting price of Rs 1.17 lakh. It has a 3 kWh battery pack which powers the 6 kW motor. It also offers battery-swapping tech. The Honda Activa E has a top speed of 80 kmph and offers a range of 102 km. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds. 







 

Suzuki e-Access

The Suzuki e-Access has a 3.07 kWh battery pack, which is paired to an electric motor generating a peak power and torque output of 5.49 HP and 15 Nm, respectively. It would give a range of 95 km, on a single charge. Suzuki e-Access offers a top speed of 71 kmph. It will also get a fast charging system which can charge the battery from 0-80% in 1 hour 12 minutes.

Ferrato DEFY 22

Okaya EV, which is now renamed to OPG Mobility, launched the Ferrato Defy 22 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It has a top speed of 70 kmph and promises a range of 80 km. The Ferrato Defy 22 comes equipped with 12-inch alloy wheels, a 1200 W motor, an IP 65-rated charger, and a 7-inch touchscreen with an integrated music system. OPG launched the Ferrato Defy 22 at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom), and the booking amount is just Rs 499.

 

Bajaj Chetak 35 Series Electric

Bajaj has launched the electric version of its classic scooter- Chetak. The Bajaj Chetak 35 Series Electric has a 3 kWh battery pack connected to the 4 kW motor. The charging duty is performed by a 950 W quick charger, which can charge the Chetak from 0-80% in three hours. Bajaj launched three variants of Chetak, that are Chetak 3501,3502 and 3503 out of which the price of 3501 and 3502 are announced. The Chetak 3501 is priced at Rs 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Chetak 3502 is priced at Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hero Xoom 160

The Hero Xoom 160, launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is the first maxi scooter in India. The high-mounted fenders at the front and dual-LED headlight setup complement its ADV design. It has a 156cc, liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out a peak power and torque output of 14 HP and 13.7 Nm, respectively. The Hero Xoom 160 is launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.48 lakh.
