Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 24,609 units in January 2024, and now the total sales have skyrocketed to 29,371 unit sales in January 2025. This translates a year-on-year growth of 19 per cent in Jan 2025. Out of the 29,371 units, Toyota has sold 26,178 units in India and the remaining 3,193 units have been exported to other countries. CY2024 also turned out to be the the best year in India for the Japanese manufacturer as it sold more than 3.26 lakh units.
Toyota has also spoken about its goals for being customer-centric and improving customer access. Confirming the brand's goals, Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business & Profit Enhancement at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, "In 2025, our efforts are to further strengthen the company's foothold in India. We will continue to optimise customer centricity through value-added services and seamless after-sales support, all aimed at creating delightful experiences. The deep philosophy of multiple pathway approach that strives to offer something to everyone depending on their mobility needs."

The top selling cars by Toyota in India are- Toyota Innova Hycross, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Toyota Glanza, the Taisor, the Toyota Fortuner, the Hilux, the Camry, and the Toyota Villfire.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor: 2024 Sales Highlight
Toyota has registered itself as 'World's Largest Car Seller', for the 5th consecutive year. Toyota Kirloskar Motor has sold over one crore cars, globally. Even after a drop in sales by 3.7 per cent, due to the decline of sales in countries like China, Japan, and others. It has also surpassed its rival- Volkswagen by 10 lakh more unit sales in 2024.
Toyota Along with Lexus sold 1,01,59,336 units in 2024. However, it also reflects a decline of 1.4 percent if we compare it with the unit sales data from 2023. If we combine Daihatsu and Hino units sales, then it accounts to a total sales of 1,08,21,480 units, which reflects a 3.7 percent decline.
