Now on to the big changes. The front end sees a slightly different design with a wind deflector on top of the headlight which is meant to reduce the drag while riding at high speeds. The other and the biggest change is that the seating is now significantly comfier compared to the F77 Mach 2. The handlebar is 80 mm taller and 30 mm wider. It sits closer to the rider too. This means that you now sit more upright and can ride for longer distances, without your back in distress. The seat height and the weight of the motorcycle stay the same as before, so no changes in that but the company says that the perceived weight is now lesser thanks to the revised ergonomics. To put it in layman's terms, the motorcycle feels easier to handle at slow speeds.

Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet: Performance

Latest and Breaking News on NDTV

There is no doubt that the F77 Superstreet is quick and has an impressive performance. The all-familiar immediate acceleration and the juice for quick overtakes is ever present and the power delivery is sharp and if you choose the ballistic mode, it is outright violent, but in a very likeable manner. The EV keeps you engaged at all times. Despite its portly weight, the handling is nimble and the motorcycle does well when you need to make quick direction changes be it city traffic or on the go-kart track that we were riding on. The suspension is stiff like it is on the F77 Mach 2, but it makes for a sporty ride and is definitely not a deal-breaker.
