Ultraviolette To Launch 10 More Electric Scooters, Motorcycles In India: Details Here
Ultraviolette will introduce 10 new electric scooters and motorcycles
BANGALORE (Anirban Mitra): Ultraviolette Automotive entered new segments of two-wheelers with the launch of Shockwave Enduro motorcycle and Tesseract scooter at its Fast Forward India '25 event on Wednesday. While these products will be available for production and delivery in 2026, the Bengaluru-based EV start-up announced its future product offensive, spawning segments and body types in the next few years. Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and co-founder of Ultraviolette Automotive, is confident of the company's rapid inroads in hi-tech batteries and modular vehicle platforms. Here's what to expect from the company:

S-Series:

Tesseract electric scooter launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers is the first product to be built as part of the S-series. It's available in three battery pack options and comes with segment-first features like radar-based safety, dash cam and 14-inch wheels. The company also announced two more electric scooters that will follow the Tesseract in the market. The brand may target a sub-Rs 1 lakh offering as well to tap into the demand

F-Series:

The F77 was the brand's first and flagship product. The brand introduced the Mach 2 - and enhanced version of F77 last year. Earlier in February this year, F77 SuperStreet version was launched with a relaxed riding triangle, suited more for urban commutes. The brand has hinted at another product on the F-Series, which could possibly be a sportier iteration. Ultraviolette F99, which is more of a factory-racing product, has set the fastest quarter mile and highest top speed for an Indian motorcycle. The third product could be a derivative of F99.

L-Series:

The Ultraviolette Shockwave is a unique motorcycle with deep roots in enduro riding. Weighing just 120 kilograms, the Shockwave is the first product to be built on the lightweight platform. The UV Shockwave is launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for initial 1,000 units. Pre-bookings have commenced and it will be rolled out of the lines in 2026. Alongside Shockwave, UV Automotive is also working on two more motorcycles on the L-platform, one of which, much like the F99 could be a factory-racing unit.

X-Series and B-Series:

Ultraviolette has divulged limited information about these platforms. The X-series will largely be hybrid motorcycles with adventure genes. The brand had showcased Concept X Electric ADV at the EICMA 2024. Based on the F77, the Concept X chose a versatile approach with sharper front end, upright geometry and touring-spec gears. The B-series will spawn cruiser and neo-retro motorcycles, the teaser image suggests. It will have a different set of LED lights, tank profile and rider stance. Ultraviolette Automotive has committed three motorcycles in X-Series and two in B-Series.
