Launched in 2024, the Skoda Kylaq is one of latest entries in the sub-4m SUV segment. With the SUV, the brand aims to mark its presence in of the most lucrative segments while also scaling up its sales and presence in the country.

Kylaq is the first SUV to bring the brand's new design language in India. It stands at 3,995 mm in length, 1,783 mm in width and is 1,619 mm in height while the wheelbase is 2566 mm. The ground clearance is 189 mm and the boot space is a healthy 446 litres which can be further expanded up to 1265 litres.
Dimensions
It gets a single pane sunroof, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, 8-inch digital MID, 6-way power adjustable seats for driver and co-driver along with wireless charger and automatic climate control.
Features
The new SUV has bagged five-star rating in BNCAP safety test. The list of safety features includes six airbags, brake disc wiping, traction control and ESC among others.

The Skoda Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cyl TSI petrol engine that pumps out 115 hp and 178 Nm of peak torque and can be paired with either a manual or an automatic gearbox.
Powertrain
The Skoda Kylaq comes at a starting price of Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes against rivals like Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Fronx and the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
