30-year-old man ends life by jumping from four-storey building

Bangalore: A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a four-storey building near Bangalore today, police said.

The deceased was identified as Ananda Pujar, a native of Kundapur in Dakshina Kannada district, police said.

Ananda, who came to Bangalore six to seven years ago, used to sell snacks from his pushcart, sources said.

"Of late he had been incurring loss and was not making any money due to which he was depressed. He was engaged to be married in the next few months", Police said.

After completing his daily round of selling snacks, he allegedly stopped near the building and went up to the terrace and jumped off the building. He died on the spot, police said.
