Bangalore: A Bangalore court today sentenced six men to life term on charges of raping a 21-year-old college student last year.
According to the girl, a student of National Law School of India, eight men allegedly raped her in a forest, adjacent to the campus of the Bangalore University in October. Seven of the eight men were arrested by the police within a week of the incident. The eighth man is still missing.
One of the arrested men was found to be a juvenile, and is being tried by the juvenile board.
The second year law student was with a male friend late at night when the group of men, who were allegedly drunk, attacked them.
