Bangalore:
Over 100 students in Bangalore have fallen ill after a meal at their government school today.
Many of the students were treated at the city's Ambedkar hospital for stomach ache and then allowed to go. 40 children are still under observation.
It is suspected that some containers carrying food to the school was contaminated.
The state government says "all are out of danger."
Government-run schools across the country offer free lunch or a "mid-day meal" to students as part of a scheme to inspire poor families to send their children to school.
