Bengaluru: A woman allegedly killed her two daughters before committing suicide due to financial problems in Bengaluru's Ulsoor last night, police said today.
The Police said that 34-year-old Renuka, a lab technician in a private firm, hanged her two daughters -- ten-month-old Pavani and six-year-old Nishtha -- from the ceiling before committing suicide.
Her husband Hemanth Kumar, a software engineer, had a taken a loan of Rs 35 lakh while they had no savings at all.
The police, after an initial investigation claimed that Renuka allegedly took such a drastic step due to the financial trouble that they were in.
