Bengaluru: A 60-year-old woman and her daughter-in-law have been found murdered in their home in central Bengaluru.
The police says the women - Santhoshi, 60, and her son's 38-year-old wife Latha - were stabbed and their bodies were discovered by the latter's daughter when she returned from school just before noon.
"It seems to be some known person because they have opened the door after looking at the window at who had come. The motive we will be able to find out once we get the accused. We have some suspects," said Police Commissioner NS Megharik. Nobody has been arrested so far.
The women lived with their husbands but were reportedly alone when they were killed today.
There did not appear to be anything stolen from the house and the police are not considering it a murder for gain at this time, said sources.
