Bangalore:
A fast track court today adjourned to July 11 hearing of a bail application filed by French Consulate official, arrested on charge of raping his four-year-old daughter.
Judge Ashok Patil adjourned the bail application after the prosecution sought time to file objections to the additional grounds cited in it.
Counsel for the French official had filed additional grounds stating there was a mismatch between his client's samples and the victim as per the DNA report which he produced.
The French official had filed the bail petition July 4.
A magisterial court on July 3 had extended by 14 days the judicial custody of the French official, arrested on June 19 on the basis of a complaint by his Indian wife, alleging that he had raped their four-year-old daughter.
