It is not too often that one comes across youngsters happy and cheerful even after waiting for hours to enter the play area. However, children from the Balakara Bala Mandir, who gathered for the inauguration of a science park at Bal Bhavan Society, waited patiently for chief minister BS Yeddyurappa to unveil the facility.
The inauguration of the science park also marked the silver jubilee celebrations of Bal Bhavan Society.
"We are happy because we have got a chance to come out. It doesn't matter that we waited for hours," said 14-year-old Muthuraju. "Just coming out and getting to spend time in the open space gives me a lot of joy," he said. His friend Uday too was excited despite the wait. "There is nothing to get bored; at least we got an outing," said the 10-year-old boy.
