A man accused of throwing acid on his partner in Bengaluru last month has been arrested from an ashram in Tamil Nadu, where he had started living, disguising himself as a seer, police said.
The accused, Nagesh, had fled Bengaluru on April 28.
Seven police teams had been formed to arrest him, after his partner, who survived the attack with minor injuries, filed a case.
The ashram, where Nagesh was hiding, is located in Tiruvannamalai district, close to Vellore.
