Bengaluru: A father of two, an employee with an IT firm, was tied to an electric pole and badly thrashed by a group of people for allegedly stalking a 25-yr-old woman. The incident which took place in Bengaluru was filmed and the video is now being circulated on the social media.
The incident took place yesterday when the woman complained to her husband about being "harassed" by the accused while on her way to office, the news agency Press Trust of India reported. The video shows the man -- tied to the pole, his shirt torn and nose bleeding -- being thrashed by different people.
He was beaten up after the woman's husband and his friends rushed to the spot. The police said this was not the first time that the man had allegedly stalked the woman and had been warned by her husband. He was taken to the police station but neither side filed a complaint. The police reportedly let him off after a warning.
