Bengaluru: A prime accused wanted in connection with the 3013 blast near BJP office has been arrested from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, police said on Monday.
Daniel Prakash, who is suspected to have supplied the explosive materials, was picked up from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu and was produced before a court there, Central Crime Branch said in a statement on Monday.
Fifteen persons have so far been arrested in connection with the case.
At least 16 people, including 11 policemen, were injured in a bomb blast on on April 17, 2013 near the bustling Karnataka BJP office in a crowded residential area of Malleshwaram, ahead of the assembly election.
The bomb was strapped to a motorbike parked between a van and a car.
