Racket in illegal manufacture of garments unearthed

Bangalore: Police have unearthed a racket in illegal manufacture and sale of garments under a leading brand with the arrest of a person.

T-Shirts and Pants with fake labels of popular brand valued at Rs 1.40 crore have been seized, police said in a statement in Bangalore.

Duplicate labels and other materials used in manufacture of garments have also been seized during the raid on two garment outlets in Bangalore on Monday, police said.
