Bangalore: A 15-year-old tigress, suffering from a lung ailment, died in Bannerghatta National Park today, a top forest department official said.
"The tigress, Gange, was suffering due to some nodules in the lungs, which were causing health problems for the past three months," Executive Director Bannerghatta National Park, Raju told PTI.
"Post-mortem will reveal whether the nodules were cancerous," he added.
