Bangalore: A woman died after delivering a baby boy in a park in Kamalanagar area on Sunday due to suspected excessive bleeding, police said.
They said the woman came to the park near her house along with her two children, who wanted to play there. She suddenly developed labour pain and delivered the baby. Passersby on hearing her cries, rushed her to a hospital, which referred her to the government run Vani Vilas hospital, where she died.
The woman had been deserted by her husband and living with her sister for about six months, police said.
The new born is doing well, police said.
