Bangalore:
Frustrated by her alcoholic husband not taking care of her and her three children, a 35 year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her rented house in Chennammanakere early this morning, police said.
They said the woman took the extreme step when her husband and her children were in an adjacent room. Hearing her screams, he rushed in and made a vain bid to tray and save her.
The man has been detained and is being questioned, police said.
