Bhopal: Rajendra Dadu, a BJP MLA from Nepanagar in Madhya Pradesh, died in a road accident on Thursday.
Madhya Pradesh Police said Mr Dadu was on way to Bhopal from Indore to attend a party MLAs' meeting when it overturned near Saikrakheri village in Sehore, killing Dadu on the spot. Three others were injured in the accident.
According to officials, the meeting slated at Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's residence was adjourned in view of Dadu's death.
State Bharyatiya Janata Party spokesperson Hitesh Bajpai expressed sorrow over the death of party MLA and called it a loss for the party and Nepanagar.
