Lokayukta includes Madhya Pradesh Health Director's 3 high-end pets in his assets' list

Bhopal: The Special Police Establishment (SPE) of the Lokayukta, which raided the residence of the Health Director A N Mittal in Bhopal last week, has recovered three high-end pet dogs from his house and added them in the list of his assets, sources said.

The cost of the three pets is Rs 30,000, they said adding that the three canines have also been added in his assets list.

Out of the three foreign breed canines, one is a German Shepherd, they said.

The Mittals are said to be fond of pets, on whom, they spent a lot of money for their upkeep; they even provided air-conditioners for them, sources added.

The raid on Mittal's as well as Junior Auditor Ganesh Prasad Kirar's residences were conducted last week, during which, assets worth over Rs 100 crore were unearthed.

Police teams have been sent to Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh to probe the illegal deals, in which, Mittal is said to have been involved. Rs 38 lakh cash, foreign currency including 3,000 Euros and 1000 Australian dollars were recovered from Mittal's house, police said.
