Police seize Rs 82 lakh worth of cash, ornaments from two men

Bhopal: Police in Madhya Pradesh recovered cash and jewellery worth Rs 82 lakh from two men travelling in a car with an Uttar Pradesh number plate, an officer said on Thursday.

The two were travelling in a car in Chhattarpur, some 400 km from Bhopal on Wednesday, when they were intercepted.

Police recovered only a part of the haul on Wednesday, while the rest was discovered hidden in the car's boot the next day, officer in-charge of the Alipura police station, J.D. Verma said.
