How To Make Unique Lachha Tikki Chaat At Home: Buy These Ingredients
1. Potatoes
To make lachha tikki chaat, you'll need potatoes. Boil them nicely, and then grate them to form thin strips. It's best to use fresh potatoes for this purpose, as they will set the base of this chaat and give it a crispy texture.
2. Dal
Apart from the usual potatoes, this chaat also features a spicy dal and pea mixture. You can use any boiled dal of your choice. Mix it with the peas and spices such as red chilli powder, chaat masala, etc. Shape the potato mixture in your hands and fill it with this dal mixture. Then, close it again to form a tikki.
3. Oil
Once done, pan-fry the lachha tikkis until golden brown in colour. Keep the flame to low-medium for best results. Also, make sure to keep flipping the tikkis in between to ensure even cooking. After this, place them in a small bowl made of green leaves.
4. Paneer
This unique tikki recipe also features paneer. After placing it in the bowl, top it with a generous amount of paneer cubes. The crispy texture of tikki complements the soft and succulent texture of paneer quite well.
5. Yoghurt
Finally, the lachha tikki is topped with yoghurt to give it a final touch. Apart from this, you'll also need sweet and spicy chutneys to go along with it. It offers a burst of flavour in the mouth, and we are sure you're going to love it.
