Terms And Conditions For The NDTV Big Bonus Super Shopper Selfie Contest

Welcome to NDTV Big Bonus Super Shopper Selfie Contest (“Contest”) organised and managed by NDTV Convergence Limited (“NDTV” / “us” / “we” / “our”) through our mobile/digital application under the brand name “NDTV Big Bonus” (“Application”). 

By registering through the Application, you (“you” / “your” / “user”) will be eligible to participate in the Contest and win exciting rewards upto 20,000, subject to the terms and conditions herein below (“Terms”).

Any user participating in the Contest shall be bound by the Terms and all other rules, regulations and terms of use referred to herein or provided by NDTV in relation to the Contest. If you do not agree or accept the Terms and all other rules, regulations and terms of use referred to herein or provided by NDTV in relation to Contest, you are advised not to participate in the Contest.

1. All users willing to participate in the Contest must be resident of India. Users below the age of eighteen (18) years are not allowed to participate in the Contest.
2. For participating in the Contest, user must download the Application, register under the Application, and obtain a registered Application user ID. 
3. Users agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information at the time of registration and at all other times (as required by us). Users further agree to update and keep updated their registration information. 
4. Upon successful registration, user will become eligible to participate in the Contest. User hereby confirms that he / she is participating in the Contest in personal capacity and not in the course of any business and/or profession.
5. To win exciting Rewards, users are required to click creative selfie as a Super Shopper and send us by way of Direct Message (commonly referred to as ‘DM') on our official Instagram, Facebook, Twitter page(s)/handle(s) i.e., @ndtvbigbonus, the selfie along with the Application user ID.
6. In order to enhance visibility and improve chance of winning, user may share with us, by way of DM, a creative note on his/her shopping experience along with the creative selfie and Application user ID, in which case users selected through lucky draw process may win rewards worth 5,000/- (Five Thousand only).  
7. Double the chances, double the winnings i.e., if user's selfie is at one of the merchants listed on the Application with the brand clearly visible in the selfie, and the same is shared with us by way of DM along with the note on his/her shopping experience and Application user ID, user may stand chance to win rewards worth 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only).
8. The winner of the Contest will be chosen by way of lucky-draw process. The results of the Contest will be announced on 30th April, 2024. 
9. If the user is selected by way of lucky draw process, the user will be entitled to earn any of the following rewards subject to the eligibility criteria as mentioned below (“Rewards”): 
   
10. The Contest shall last for a period of 3 (three) weeks commencing from 31st March and ending on 20th April, 2024. The window for sending us the selfie along with other details as mentioned herein above will remain open till 11:00 PM on 20th April, 2024. 
11. The Rewards will be credited to the user's Application wallet in form of virtual money vINR, which can be redeemed only on the Application to purchase products of merchants available on the Application.
12. Please note, Rewards are non-transferable and are non-exchangeable, and no cash will be offered to any user in lieu of such Rewards in any circumstance.
13. Users understands, agrees and acknowledges that we shall not be responsible and/or liable for any transaction pursuant to the redemption of the Reward, and any product related claims/liabilities shall entirely vest with the merchant. 
14. Further, the user grants an unlimited, transferable, sub-licensable right and license to (a) use user's photographs and videos for promotion in the manner as deemed fit by NDTV; (b) name the winners of the Contest as “NDTV Big Bonus Super Shopper” and use the same for promotion and marketing purposes; (c) use personal information of the user to contact him/her for testimonials and promotions after the Contest; (d) use the personal information of the user for purposes defined under Application's privacy policy. 
15. By participating in the Contest, user expressly, freely and unambiguously consent to the collection, use, disclosure, transfer and retention of his/her personal information in accordance with Application's privacy policy. In order to learn more, we recommend users to read and understand the privacy policy in entirety.
16. We, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to alter and amend the benefits and/or Rewards and/or their criteria, in such manner, as we may, in our sole discretion deem fit. 
17. Further, we, at our sole discretion, may disqualify any user from the Contest, refuse to award Rewards and require the return of Rewards, if the user engages in unfair conduct, which we deem to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the Contest or is in any way detrimental to other users.
18. If it comes to our notice that any governmental, statutory or regulatory compliances or approvals are required for organizing and managing the Contest or if it comes to our notice that conduct of the Contest is prohibited, then we shall withdraw and/or cancel the Contest without prior notice to any user or winners of the Contest. Users agree not to make any claim in respect of such cancellation or withdrawal of the Contest in any manner whatsoever.
19. Users shall participate in the Contest voluntarily and at their own risk. We shall, under no circumstance, hold liability and/or responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any user through its participation in the Contest (as a result of acceptance of any Rewards).
20. Users hereby release from and agree to indemnify us, and our directors, employees, associate partners and licensors, from and against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out their participation in the Contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct, indirect, consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission on their part, or otherwise.
21. We shall have no liability for any act or omission beyond our control including but not limited to earthquake, flood, pandemic, epidemic, strike, lockout, labor controversy, riot, telecommunication failure, internet breakdown, software disruption, civil disturbance, war, civil commotion, etc.
22. The provisions contained in these Terms shall be read, in addition to and not in derogation of, our other terms including but not limited to Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, etc. (“Other Terms”). In case of any discrepancy between these Terms and Other Terms, the provisions of these Terms shall prevail.
23. In case users have any complaints or grievance pertaining to offering and running of the Contest and/or these Terms, please share the same with us by writing to ndtvbigbonusinsta@gmail.com. On receiving such complaint, grievance or notice, we reserve the right to investigate and/or take such action as we may deem appropriate. We may reach out to the user to seek further clarification or assistance with the investigation, or verify the statements made in user's complaint, grievance or notice, and user acknowledges that his/her timely assistance with the investigation would facilitate the redressal of the complaint.
24. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of India and shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts at New Delhi.
