Kishanganj: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi today hit out at the Congress, RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for backwardness of the Seemanchal region in the state and said his party will work hard for development of minorities and weaker sections.
As far as the backwardness of Seemanchal region is concerned, the Congress, RJD's Lalu Prasad and incumbent Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are collectively responsible, he said during an election meeting in Kishanganj.
He charged the secular alliance constituents with failure to render justice to the region over the years.
Mr Owaisi also attacked the BJP for hatching a conspiracy to scrap reservation policy in place for the OBCs and SC/STs at the behest of the RSS which wields real power in the NDA government and said that the saffron party will do whatever was asked for by the Sangh Parivar.
"The RSS is the parent of the BJP and it will have to abide by whatever is asked for by the Sangh leadership," the AIMIM president said.
