The Grand Alliance was poised to win the battle for the Bihar assembly, Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader Sharad Yadav said on Sunday.
"We will get about 150 seats," Mr Yadav told the media as officials counted the votes polled to elect a 243-member assembly.
"It was a very tough fight, it was a straight fight," he said.
