Respect the Bihar Mandate, Says BJP's Arun Jaitley: Highlights
Finance minister Arun Jaitley said there was no discussion about any action against BJP ministers following the Bihar results.
New Delhi: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley addressed media after the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting that discussed the results of Bihar polls.

Here are the highlights of his speech:
  • We accept the mandate and will play the role of the Opposition and raise issues concerning the people.
  • Vote transferability of 'Mahagathbandhan' worked for them.
  • There is no empirical evidence available for reservation remark's influence on the results.

  • They had strong influence over certain sections of society, but we have managed to get their votes too.
