RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Continues to Face Trouble Over Beef Remark

Hajipur/Araria: RJD president Lalu Prasad continued to face trouble over his controversial "Hindus also eat beef" comment with a fresh complaint case filed against him in a Vaishali court today.

A social worker Sampoorna Nand Giri filed a complaint in the court of Vaishali Chief Judicial Magistrate Jay Ram Prasad against the RJD chief for his comment that "Hindus also eat beef".

The court admitted the complaint and transferred it to Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Fazullah.

The petitioner said he felt deeply hurt when he saw on TV Mr Prasad making the comment on October 3.

Another case filed by Mr Pintu Kumar in Araria was heard by CJM Ashok Kumar Shukla's court today who transferred it to the court of ACJM Kumar Amit Mannu.

Mr Pintu Kumar filed the complaint on Tuesday.

Court complaints against RJD president have also been filed in Patna and Muzaffarpur.

Muzaffarpur ACJM Ramchandra Prasad had yesterday ordered police to register an FIR against Mr Prasad over his beef remark.
