Dhawal Oza, Vinit Sancheti's friend

Dhawal Oza, is part of a group of six friends who have announced a one-lakh reward for anyone who can help identify the car driver who killed 39-year-old Vinit Sancheti in a hit-and-run in Mumbai on January 25.
Here, Mr Oza describes the young life lost and a determined hunt for information by his friends:
Four days ago, an unknown driver crashed into our friend Vinit's bike and then took off, leaving him to bleed to death alone.
All of us, Vinit's friends and family, have been struggling to come to terms with the unbelievable loss. We want to uncover the truth and fight for justice for him.
Vinit was running an event management company. He was a loving son, a supportive brother, a fantastic friend and a visionary boss.
The accident took place at 4 pm in Panvel. Only a hubcap of the car that rammed into Vinit's bike was left behind, but we believe that through this vital clue, the goodwill of people and the power of the media, the guilty will be caught and punished.
We have set up a Facebook page www.facebook.com/justice4vinit and will reward anyone who can give us accurate information about the car or its driver or help us locate any witnesses. The six of us (including Prashant Sampat, Bhavesh Shah, Rowland, Ravi Gaur, Hrishikesh Doshi) have pooled in the Rs. 1 lakh that we are offering.
Vinit was a "yaaron ka yaar". When he was killed, he was carrying a knapsack that he used to take everywhere with him. That bag, with his laptop and other stuff, was found near his body. He would do anything to help his friends. This is why we are bent on doing what we can now for him.
