Pt Shankar and Mr Chopra died last year in December and October respectively. Mr Chopra died just three weeks before his last film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, released. Pt Shankar received two posthumous Grammy awards this year.

India's Braveheart's friend says: I have lost my friend. No law can bring her back. But let this not recur. Honour our sacrifice in that way.
He says: Family said, sell land for her marriage. She and we wanted her to study. We lived on potatoes to ensure we could help her study
India's Braveheart's father says: Our daughter was no less than a son for us:
