For years OROP was promised but even when an allotment was made, it was a token amount. We changed this: PM @narendramodi in Brussels

- 175 Gw power through renewables - for the first time Indians heard about the gigawatt.
- And I can say with satisfaction the work is going great and India will achieve it within time.
- There are so many villages in India still living in the 18th century.
- 18,000 such villages where the electric pole hasn't reached
- Doesn't it pain your heart? 60 years after independence shouldn't we have done this much?
- But on Aug 15, I announced we will bring electricity to 18K villages in 1,000 days.
- Today 7 months or 250 days later, more than 7,000 villages have received electricity poles and wires.
- Now tell me, if Modi does this would it ruffle feathers?
- And if they have eaten so much, they can shout a lot. So that's why they are badmouthing Modi.
- So people who have taken the cream (malai) for years, are making all the noise against Modi.
- So if someone cries foul against me, know that Modi twisted the key or tightened the screw somewhere.
- But 60 years after independence 40% people hadn't seen doors of a bank.
- Today most people of the country are connected to banking.
- 21 crore new bank accounts were opened
PM @narendramodi : There was record output of coal in 2015. Also record production of electricity and record cargo handled at major ports

- There are many things you perhaps don't see on TV, on newspapers
- But you see them on the Narendra Modi app, on social media
- And I would like to tell you how change is happening
- There are so many things I will have to resort to paper
- And I am just giving an account of 2015
- But look at the misfortune of the world and humanity
- The UN has a definition of all things related to war
- But for terrorism they have no answers
- We have urged the UN to pass a resolution to find out and distinguish forces of terror.
- And I don't know how the UN will do this, but it's the need of the hour given the circumstances.
- All those powers who are against terrorism will have to come together and fight against it.
- It is time that the world understands the ramifications of terrorism.
- India has been troubled by terrorism for the last 40 years. More than the soldiers martyred in battlefield, lives have been lost to terrorism.
- When India was shouting out to the world about terrorism, we were told that it's our law and order problem. Now the world understands what terrorism is.
- 9/11 shocked the world.
- But India has not bowed down to terrorism and there's no chance of it.
- Last week Brussels witnessed a ghastly terror attack
- To the people who lost their dear ones, I pay my respects to them
- Such a huge incident has happened here after a long time
