Washing Powder Nirma: The YouTube version

New Delhi: Discovery is fun. Even if someone else does it for you.

This once a tweet from @livetimefe has had us in the NDTV.com newsroom delighted with the discovery of a 19-year-old with a great voice and attitude to match.

This was the tweet that set us clicking,  

On to YouTube where attydude18 has a channel that hosts his acoustic covers of popular ad jingles like Washing Powder Nirma,




And Vicco Turmeric,

 


Particularly recommended is his take on some popular Bollywood songs down the ages. attydude18's version of the 1995 song Goriya Churaana mera jiya is a must hear.

 

attydude18's home videos have been viewed by many thousands and he has a small dedicated band of followers that subscribe to his channel on YouTube and periodically exhort him to do more of this. A lot of suggestions there that he do this professionally. There are suggestions that he will be an advertiser's dream.

We tend to concur. This is true talent discovered. Reality Internet anyone?
