Chandigarh: The chopped body parts of a woman were found dumped at two different places in Haryana's Sirsa district, police said today.
"While the woman's head and two lower limbs were recovered from a blood-stained gunny bag in Kanganpur village, over 300 km from here, her torso and two upper limbs were recovered from a suitcase from a vacant plot near Agrasen Colony in Sirsa," SSP, Sirsa, Satinder Kumar Gupta told PTI.
"Though the woman has not yet been identified, it appears that she was in her 20s and hails from Sirsa or a nearby area. Prima facie, it looks like she was married," he said.
A case has been registered under IPC Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (destruction of evidence) and investigations are on, he said.
