Chandigarh:
Chandigarh police have suspended two cops who were allegedly found in an inebriated state while on security duty at a five-star hotel where M S Dhoni-led IPL team Chennai Super Kings stayed on Wednesday night.
The two cops were of a sub-inspector and a constable rank, police sources said.
The CSK, which had played against Kings XI Punjab, at Mohali on Wednesday night, was staying at Hotel Taj here.
They said that during a late night inspection on Tuesday, the two were found in an inebriated state, after which medical examination of the two was done.
The report confirmed the two were under the influence of liquor, the sources said, adding the two had been suspended and departmental inquiry initiated against them.
