Chandigarh:
Four kilograms of heroin, worth Rs 20 crore in the international market, was on Wednesday seized and one person arrested in the connection, police said.
Jagwinder Singh, a resident of Naushehra Dhala in Taran Tarn district, was arrested at Ferozepur check post near Chandigarh, police said.
Four packets of heroin worth Rs 20 crore were seized from Singh's possession, they said.
According to police, the contraband brought from Pakistan was delivered to Singh, who had to further supply it to some drug peddlers.
