Chandigarh:
A 55-year-old patient was on Monday night burnt alive after an oxygen cylinder blasted at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room in the government PGIMER hospital here, police said.
Kindar Singh, a cancer patient, was burnt alive after the oxygen cylinder blasted around 11.35 PM. The deceased was hospitalised there for a month," they said.
The deceased hails from Doraha in Punjab's Ludhiana district.
Investigation is on into the matter, they said.
