Chandigarh: The engine of Shan-e-Punjab express on Tuesday caught fire when the train was stationed at Ludhiana railway station, officials said.
Fire tenders were immediately rushed to the railway station and the flames were doused within minutes, officials said.
No loss to life or property was reported, they said.
Railway officials said they are looking into the reasons that could have led to the fire.
