Prime Minister Narendra Modi today proposed new ideas as he replied in Parliament on the Motion of Thanks on the President's address at the start of the Budget session.
Here are his suggestions:
Only women lawmakers should speak in Parliament on March 8, to mark International Women's Day.
For a week, in one or two sessions a year, only first-time members should be allowed to speak... Not because I am a first-timer, but we need a whiff of fresh air of ideas.
Members should all sit an extra day on Saturday during a session to debate India's role in fighting climate change.
