Here are the 10 latest developments in this story:

  1. Ms Mukerjea was rushed to hospital on Friday afternoon from the Byculla women's jail after she complained of "uneasiness".  Doctors attending to her say they are investigating whether she overdosed on prescription drugs. 6. "The pills were prescribed on September 11 and she was supposed to take them from September 12 to 26," Inspector General (Prisons) Bipin Kumar Singh said. The probe will seek to ascertain whether she had accumulated the pills beyond the prescribed limit, he added.
