12 Lakh Pictures And Counting: How This 3D Museum Is Making Art Fun

People appear to be flying when they pose in front of the painting of an angelic pair of wings.

Chennai: If you ever found a museum to be a boring place, Chennai's Click Art museum will change you perception. The Click Art museum, located at city's East Coast Road, engages visitors with unique and interactive 3D art form.

From angelic pair of wings to picturesque gondola, one can easily fall in love with the 3D art forms.

The paintings give visitors a chance to experience everything under one roof.

An estimated 12 lakh pictures taken at the museum have been shared on social media.

A two-thousand-year-old art has now been revived for the smartphone generation. More than 70,000 visitors have walked in since its launch in April.

Renowned artist Shreethar, the brain behind the museum, says the idea is to engage with visitors in a brand new way. He is now taking the gallery to 22 Indian cities including Delhi and Mumbai, besides San francisco in the US.

He says "Here people can easily come and interact with the art, enjoy the painting. They can actually become part of the art".

There are 24 different 3D art works at first-of-its-kind trick art museum.

The designated spots for each art work provide just the right angle to get one the perfect picture.

Surjit Kaur, a visitor who loves the 3D effect, says, "It comes in like reality, you feel it when you take pictures".

S Prerna, a school student said "It's an amazing place, very creative".
